Race Dates

Registration – Wednesday 10th October 2018.
Racing – Thursday 11th - Saturday 13th October 2018.  
Prize-giving – after supper on Saturday 13th October, followed by the After-Party.

Team categories

Mens, mixed or womens pairs (with sub-categories for Mkhulus (average team age 50+) and Buffaloes (total team weight 180kg+).  The field is limited to 90 teams. 

Accommodation

Weds 10th – chalets (upgraded entries only) or backpacker stables and tents – random allocation for standard entries;
Thurs 11th – mix of lodge rooms, village houses and hostel rooms – random allocation for all teams;
Fri 12th – luxurious en suite hotel rooms for all teams;
Sat 13th – chalets, tents and dormitory (not included in entry fee – booking through us and details will follow).

Accommodation on Sat 13th is optional but highly recommended.  Traditionally, riders and supporters relax and enjoy sundowners overlooking the dam before the prize-giving supper and festive After-Party.  

Entries

Entries open on 1st December 2017.

Entry Fee

The entry fee includes:
  • 3 days of exhilarating mountain biking
  • 3 nights’ accommodation (Wed 10th – Fri 12th)
  • afternoon tea and supper at registration on Wed 10th
  • breakfast, lunch and supper (including the prize-giving supper) on all 3 days of racing ie Thurs, Fri and Sat
  • vehicle shuttle on registration day from finish venue to registration
  • nature reserve entry fees
  • bike wash service
  • medical service
  • race clothing
  • photographs and movie highlights
Entry fee is:
  • Standard team entry fee - R14 900 (incl 14% VAT) ie R7450 per rider
  • Upgraded team entry fee - R15 700 (incl 14% VAT) ie R7850 per rider (upgraded team entry includes a chalet on Wed 10th - limited number available)

Please email your completed Entry Form to info@swazifrontier.co.sz. Receipt will be acknowledged within 3 days and you will be requested to pay the entry fee. Your entry will be confirmed on receipt of payment.
