Our social footprint reaches out to enthusiastic local cyclists in various ways.
Our formal sponsorship programme identifies talented cyclists and provides them with a mountain bike and all related support (including financial) to develop their ability and potential.
Sifiso Mhlanga (20 years old) has been sponsored by Swazi Frontier for the past 4 years and continues to dominate the local mountain biking scene. He won Swaziland’s National Mountain Bike Series 2015 and was also the winner of Swaziland’s National Mountain Bike Championship. 2016 has been another fantastic year for him so far and he is on track to win the Series again.
Many of the riders we have supported over the past 11 years have excelled with national podium finishes and also top 10 positions in Swazi Frontier. We have also been able to send some of our sponsored cyclists to participate in several South African races including Barberton, Sabie, Mankele, Sani2C, JoBerg2C and 94.7.
On a less formal level, novice riders venturing into the world of mountain biking have benefitted from our annual distributions of kit, accessories and bike parts which riders have brought along to Registration for donation.
